A survey was carried on to find out how good are the new kids in the town, ie., Microsoft has been performing in the area of pricing of apps. Of course, the comparison was made to Apple’s Application Store. The result- “The mean price of a paid iPhone app is $3.43, compared to $6.16 for paid apps available on Windows Marketplace for Mobile.” That’s not a very nice picture to see since Windows Phone 7 is novel when compared to its counterpart, iPhone.
